About

Catherine holds a B.A. in art history from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. in historical theology from Fordham University. She has taught theology and American religious history at Fordham, Franklin & Marshall College, the University of Notre Dame, and Loyola Marymount University. A native of Washington, DC, and a longtime resident of New York City, she currently lives in South Bend, IN, where she is a member of the extended St. Peter Claver Catholic Worker Community. She edits for individuals, for various presses, and for the Hispanic Theological Initiative. In her spare time she enjoys attending city council meetings, rehabbing her old weird house, big dinner parties based on local produce, chilling with her cat, watching women’s basketball, and long walks along the river .
